Black Moss Nature Reserve
Black moss Nature Reserve is a short walk from South St Armadale. This is a large community woodland with several entrances set in the heart of the town. Lots of wide gravel footpaths criss-cross the nature park with no gradients plus several benches en route. Lots of mixed young woodlands & open meadows, very popular with dog walkers and locals. Close to town with all usual facilities & bus stops close by. A nice surprise to discover this park in an urban setting. Wildlife spotted by local residents include deer, rabbits, foxes, frogs, slugs and creepy crawlies.
