Geocache Description:

Number xxxx in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

The cache is not at the co-ordinates, but what you can find here is a "Fine Pair" a red telephone box along with a red post box, close enough that a photo can be taken of the two together. To find the cache you will need to do a bit of maths.

The cache can be found at N53 17.ABC W003 16.DEF, where

A is the last digit in brackets of the telephone number,

B is the last digit of the telephone number,

C is the next to last digit of the telephone number,

D is the number of letters in the two words above the crown on the post box -1

E is the hour of collection of the post box on Saturdays

F is the minutes of the time of collection from the post box Mondays to Fridays

The A Fine Pair series is managed by mattd2k

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit to request a number to avoid any duplication.

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via the A Fine Pair website at to have yours added.
