With an arboretum, veterans memorial path, museum, garden shop and other features, Lasdon park draws many visitors. But few seem to venture onto the woodland trails, which offer an easy, shaded walk -- usually in solitude -- along old farm roads. The small cache, one of three hidden today, is a short distance off the green trail.
The yellow and green trails are connected, and each is a loop trail. There are a couple of ways to enter the trail system. From the trailhead coordinates listed below, try this order of attack:
