We're avid bicyclists, and when we moved to this area, we went biking all around our neighborhood and beyond. The very first time we biked near this geocache's location, the chain on one of our bikes jumped the sprocket. The second time we rode in this area, someone else's chain popped off the wheel. So, we called this little area the "Chain Breaker." (NOTE: No chains were actually broken, but the name stuck.)
