The Story so far:
Ummel, the Dragon, has hidden a Geocache, but he will only tell people where it is if they find him.
Many Geocachers have tried to capture Ummel to find the Geocache, but they have failed.
A daring young warrior, Frank, has though managed to place a transmitter on Ummel, before he was turned to charcoal.
Unfortunately the transmitter is not working correctly and does not tell us where Ummel is, or how far away he is. It does though tell us which direction he is in.
On the cartridge inventory select check location it will tell you which direction Ummel is between 0 and 360 degrees. This means that you could follow the direction on your own to find Ummel. But, if you have friends in different locations then all can take a reading at the same time. By two or more reading at the same time you should be able to triangulate where Ummel is.
However, young Frank did not kill Ummel, he only added a transmitter. That means that Ummel is still flying around mainland Europe. He is not that fast for a dragon, circa 30-60 kmh, but still flying. So if you triangulate where he is and then drive there, he will be gone. Every 5 seconds the transmitter will refresh to give the new position allowing you to follow Him, hopefully he will not be too far away when you get there.
If you get to within 1km of Ummel you can then talk to him and he might give you the Geocache location, or turn you into charcoal.
The current position for Ummel should be the same for all devices at the same time. If he is too far away then just wait, Ummel likes flying and is always moving, so he will be back.

Please note: This wherigo makes use of a moving zone. Most wherigos have stable zones that do not move. The location of the zone in this wherigo moves all over Mainland Europe and it’s up to you to triangulate in real time the current location of the zone. The location of the zone should be the same for anyone playing the wherigo, providing they are on Mainland Europe, so I encourage you to work in teams to capture it. Good luck!
