Memories
This cache has been placed here as this is a very special spot for me.
It is a great place to come and reflect and look out at the ocean. You can see all the way to Manly and beyond.
My Grandparents lived close by and we spent many a time at the Diggers having lunch.
The memories that I have here are:
2000 - My Grandfather's ashes were scattered here after his passing on 19th July.
2002 - My Brother and his wife had their wedding photos taken on the rocks below.
2007 - My Grandmother's ashes were scattered here after her passing on 30th December.
2010 - My Dad's ashes where scattered here after his passing on 20th October.
2010 - I proposed to my girlfriend (now Wife) for the 2nd time as when I had set it up to propose she ended up in hospital so that is where I proposed. After she was better, I did it again at this spot.
2011 - My wife and I got married up at the Diggers club and then had our photos taken down on the rocks below.
So as you can see this is a very special spot, so I thought a cache here would be great for people to come and reflect.
This year 2020 marks the 20 anniversary of the passing of my Grandad who I miss very much.
