This cache is named after our Black Lab, Ruger, who often comes with us to Geocache. This was his first hike/walk after we got him in Febuary 2019, and we come here often with him and his older brother, Blackie.
Gonic Trails is managed by Waste Managment in Rochester, NH. The following are the marked trails in this area, but there are smaller unmarked trails as well: Watson's Way: 1.4 miles loop, Locke's Local Loop: 1.3 miles loop, Luanne's Lane: 3.5 miles each way. There is a map at the trail head of the marked trails. The Isinglass River runs along some of the trails and it makes for beautiful views.
Walking/hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing are allowed. Please rememeber carry in carry out, keep dogs on a leash and pick up after your dog. Depending on time of year, I would recommend bug spray. There are many other Geocaches on these trails to show off some of the Trails beauty!
