***** DO NOT PARK NEXT TO THE CACHE ******
The cache is located off the busy one way road that goes past the RV dump station and leads into the Priest Lake Information Center. PLEASE, drive by GZ and park in the spacious parking area and walk the 150 feet or so back to the cache. There is plenty of room to walk in the grass beside the road. Locate a hollow burned stump down over the hill. You are looking for a medium-sized sliver vitamin bottle that has room for a few small items. Bring your own writing stick.
The name for this cache comes from the tree that can be seen from the cache site that the locals call, "The Money Tree". A supervisor from the Idaho Department of Lands asked us to place a cache to show off this unique tree. To see the tree, stand with your back to the dumping station (facing east) and the stump to your right.. Look between the branches of the two trees towards the horizon. The money tree branches have grown in a spiral pattern around the trunk of the tree and it looks like a "$"!
