Geocache Description:

Sarabi: "So where is this really cool place?"

Simba: "Oh...uh, around the water hole."

Nala: "The water hole? What's so great about the water hole?"

Simba: "I'll show you when we get there."

If you haven't seen The Lion King then you haven't lived!!! But if you have seen the Lion King, please don't be disappointed that I am not really leading you to an Elephant Graveyard!! You could possibly come across some bones of some sort but let's hope not. Plus it's not a Water Hole as such, but the water does come out of a hole... in a tap... so technically  cheeky

The location of this geocache is within the Cape Range National Park and is known as Ned’s Bore. Water is available to the public in limited amounts, however it is NOT suitable for drinking. A good place to be made aware of if camping on this side of the range. Because of the water source, it is also one of the better spots to find kangaroos & emus in the late arvo or early evening.

I must acknowledge and thank Wayne & Kathryn @TeamRedRoo for initially bringing me here with the cache previously known as “Ten Wells 04 – The Water Point” which was originally placed on the 15th October 2004 and archived on the 31st March 2017. That’s 12.5 years of geocachees stopping by!!                        I originally visited this site in October of 2018, a few months after I started out geocaching and after I’d found all of the listed caches in town. I was made aware of an archived cache here and stopped in to see if it was still around. It was... but it was in a bad way. I was new to the game and it had already been archived so I left it. On the 4th July 2020, 2 years on from joining the geocaching world I’ve now decide to replace it with a new cache and bring it back to life! Lets see if we can get another 12+ years out of it !!
