I have recently found this structure and find it weird!
just behind the cache site you can make out 2 old curling ponds which are no longer used - there are village curling ponds still near the games field which are still used in the cold Braemar winters.
There are numerous ways to enter these woods.
Just to the left of the site is the Mountain Rescue base - what wonderful work these volunteers do.
Don't go to near the ruins as they look dangerous.
