First, parking. There are meters on E. 9th and on Erieside Ave. Parking meters use the Park Mobile app. There may be days when there is no parking along these streets. Those times should be posted.
The ship in front of you is the William G. Mather. It is now a museum. The Great Lakes Science Center has info about visiting the ship. This link, visit the ship But you are here and just want to know a little. Go to this link, steamship Mather Do you want to know about Mr. William Mather? Then go to his link, Mr. Mather There are also videos on line about the ship and more information about Mr. Mather's estate in Bratenhal. But that would be too many links. You're savy, you can find more if you wish. One interesting item of note, the current paint scheme is not historically accurate. Cleveland Cliffs ships would have had a solid black hull, no red line, and the fore and aft cabins would have been olive drab green, not white. The ship was repainted to appease local politicians.
Congratulations to Gomezash who was FTF!
