Geocache Description:

INFORMATION ABOUT BEVT SERIES

We chose a dog bone for our geoart as the TugTug part of our geocaching name, Team TugTug refers to our furry buddies that pull us along on some of our geocaching outings.  So here’s to Sophie, Abby, and Bandit (only one still with us).

The mysteries are a mixture of various places, songs, shows, and things.  As mentioned before, these caches are not meant to be difficult so just have fun!

Team TugTug member Bandit is also known as a Blue Merle. Merle is a genetic pattern that can be in a dog's coat. The merle gene creates mottled patches of color in a solid or piebald coat, blue or odd-colored eyes.

Heterochromia iridis is a rare (and often strikingly gorgeous) condition in which animals, including humans, have two different colored eyes. It's particularly noticeable in dogs and cats. So why does it occur? The iris of the eye is colored by melanin (the same stuff that gives pigmentation to our skin.)
