This cache sits in front of the Wethersfield Village Cemetery near the parking entrance to the First Church building on Main Street across from a homemade Ice Cream Parlor (yum). Stealth is required, especially in warmer weather. Lots of muggles, however, a quick nab would work once spied from a little distance.
It is not in the cemetery itself, but be respective if you decide to visit within the gates. The Wethersfield Village Cemetery dates back to 1881. It has some really old headstones, so please be respectful. I love the cemetery caches, especially the old ones that seem long forgotten. This one is unique in that it has a mixture of old graves and new. Many people came to pay respects while I was scoping out placements. A somber look would be most effective for fitting in and highly respectful of the residents and their visitors.
*****IMPORTANT***** Cemeteries are off limits at night, and considered a criminal offense to trespass between 1/2 hour after sunset and 1/2 hour before sunrise the following day, unless posted otherwise. NO Dogs Allowed in cemetery.
