This is number 1 of 22 geocaches along the Hothfield to Egerton section of the Greensand Way Trail. There are small car parks in Hothfield , Pluckley and Egerton. The route crosses a number of country roads that can be very busy, so please take care when approaching and crossing roads, especially with children and dogs.
Tweezers will be needed for some of the caches and a logbook roller would be useful. There are quite a number of other geocaches along the route or very close by.
From the suggested parking cross the road into 'The Street' and walk past the village shop towards Bethersden Road and the Church. Just before the turning for the Church is a kissing gate in the wall on the left, go through the gate to find this first cache.
Once found, turn around and return to the road and cross over to the footpath.
