This island is picture perfect. Maybe not quite as picture perfect as the one at GC8RXKB, but I love the charm this island holds.
Choose wisely when to paddle and when to put it off for another day. Although it is a small lake and this island is not far from the boat launch at the end of Anderson Road, strong winds can cause white caps on Round Lake. Other times it can be as still and calm as glass. Find the perfect day for paddling and it will provide you with a wonderful experience.
You are looking for a lisa tube (50mL cntrifuge tube) in a tree, hanging just over the water. At the time of placement, it was about eye level in the kayak, but may be lower or higher depending on water levels and your height. This cache should be accessible by both motorized vessel or canoe/kayak. There are a few rocks near GZ so if you are bringing a motorized boat, you may need to lift the motor and navigate carefully.
