Prima dell'arrivo dell'acquedotto comunale, era indispensabile avere una fonte d'acqua potabile vicino a casa. Così tutti i gruppi di abitazioni avevano la propria fontana.
Questa è stata installata dalla famiglia Armellin nei primi del '900 ed è stata volutamente lasciata all'esterno della recinzione, così che tutti possano usufruirne! In effetti da decenni ogni frequentatore della Restera trevigiana conosce e apprezza questa preziosa fonte fresca, che fa coppia con un'altra a circa due km in direzione Treviso, sempre lungo il fiume.
La cache è installata nei pressi del vecchio lavatoio, dando così la possibilità di avere un altro punto di vista del Sile e della strada ad ogni prode geocacher!
ATTENZIONE! abbiate cura che non cadano in acqua i bambini se cercate con loro! La cache è installata a meno di 1 metro dal fiume Sile!!

Before the arrival of the municipal aqueduct, it was essential to have a source of drinking water near the house. So all the groups of houses had their own fountain.
This one was installed by the Armellin family in the early 1900s and was deliberately left outside the fence, so that we all have use of it!
In fact, for decades, every visitor to the Treviso Restera (the name of this road going along the river) has known and appreciated this precious fresh source of water, which pairs up with another about two km away in the direction of Treviso, also along the river.
The cache is installed near the old washing platform, thus giving the possibility to have another point of view of the Sile and the road to every proud geocacher playing here!
WARNING! take care that children do not fall into the water if you search it with them! The cache is installed less than 1 meter from the Sile river !!
