This cache highlights one of the Little Free Libraries in the area. The cache is placed with permission of the owner of the Little Free Library. Please remember we are guests to the library: please treat the libraries with respect! Feel free to trade a book for your vacation while you're there. Please note that this is in a neighborhood: no early morning caching, and no evening/night caching, please. The cache is in the library, so please don't mess with the owner's nice landscaping! Finally, park on the road, not in the driveway. I am not the owner of this house -- they aren't even a cacher, they were just kind enough to permit a hide in their Library!
This cache is inspired by "Dime 4 Your Rhyme", GCTB9Y, in New Jersey. The owners m_and_w were kind enough to let me copy their idea. From their cache page:
"A dime for your rhyme
when you log your find
if you're not a poet, don't worry
Ten cents you should leave
If a rhyme you can't weave
You can still do this cache in a hurry."
This time, we are writing haikus, which are three-line poems that follow a 5 / 7 / 5 syllable line pattern. They do not need to rhyme. For example:
We did not find it
I'm sure we had the right place
But it was not there
Or:
A sunny beach day
A perfect afternoon search
Added a smiley
Cache has a little logbook and some space for trades, starting with a deck of cards, a globe keychain, some magnets, and some stickers. Please trade even or up and record what you swap in your log. This should be an easy find, so take a minute to write a little poem in online log for us to enjoy. Photos of your day or of the cache encouraged in your log!
