This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

Cannawigra Congregational Church
Sections of the original Cannawigra Station were allotted to settlers in 1900. One settler John Charlton Guy donated land for a church and school. A loan was obtained from the Congregational Church and the settlers carted local stone to erect a building and the Rev. David Milne layed the foundation stone. The school opened closed in September 1956, while church services were held from 1901 until 1975. Local residents purchased the building for the community in 1978, at a cost of $1,000 and Albert Maurice Guy became the first president of the Cannawigra Hall Inc. Committee.
