Geocache Description:

Leland reserve is an 18-acre property owned and maintained by the Southern Madison Heritage Trust. The Leland Reserve will walk you through different cover types including old field, shrubland, native hardwood forest, and a riparian corridor with exposed geology. Visting the reserve in spring will give you the best views of the small waterfall on the property however, be advised that the streambed itself lay within private property. The reserve is closed during bow hunting season. Check the NYS DEC website for season dates.
