Cache is NOT at the posted coords. This is a quick 2 step multi and a great opportunity to stretch your legs. Park in the East Bound lot (south side of the HWY) and go to the posted coords to get started. You will not need to cross the HWY.
In May of 1806, Lewis and Clark passed Eastward over this summit after wintering near the Ocean. They were short of food, horses, and trade goods, living on the land from day to day.
