Alpowa Summit (elevation 2785 ft) connects Pomeroy on the west with Clarkston on the east. The pass separates the Blue Mountains' foothills on the south with the rolling Palouse to the north.
This is a great place to stop and stretch your legs. Plenty of parking, a pet area, restrooms, picnic tables, and a cache to find!
