Geocache Description:

I discovered this footpath by chance as part of my daily work in the city, and it was only afterwards that I returned to explore the area further. To my delight I found a near multitude of bridges along here, but I have limited myself to the 3 best examples of Little Bridges along the kilometer or so length of the track.

This is a simple traditional cache in a delightful area following an enjoyable woodland walk to gz if you follow my recommended parking. You are looking for a small sized screw top container that will hold small trackables and coins. It looks as though children may inhabit the area on occasion, judging from the nearby tyre swing, and the path is also frequented by dog walkers, so please use your best stealthy skills when searching for the cache.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast. A list of cachers who have found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to the list.
