SQ Pherdun Cemetery Traditional Cache

A quiet cemetery out in Sandstone Twp. We were not able to find how it came by it's unusual name but there are a few Pherdun's buried here so perhaps it was a family plot at one time. On the other hand there are older headstones than those of the Pherdun family so we simply don't know. The USGS GNIS records show the mean elevation of this place to be 903 ft but you'll find the cache here is a little higher than that. Trinkets to trade and a pencil to sign the log were included when this was placed.
