Of all the words in the English language, "Muggins" is one of my favorites. Why? It can be used as an insult, a self-deprecating nickname, or simply as a goofy title for one's self.
Despite this, I could count on my hands the number of times I've heard it in regular conversation.
Sure, we all come from different backgrounds, and other people's image of the world through their eyes might not match mine. But even when I account for the differences between us, it baffles me how undervalued the word is. Perhaps most people have simply never heard it before.
Anyway, the other day I created a puzzle, but being the muggins I am, I misplaced the solution. The only thing I was able to find was a note with the following numbers: 7, 12, 14, 2, 12, 0, 3, 17, 11.
Since I'm such a forgetful muggins, feel free to call me out on it if you think my note is missing something.
