I first came to the scout camp in in early 2000's. I came up with my son to help at his scout camp, then within a few years later I came back as a leader. For a decade I came here to came to the camp multiple times every year. Summer Camps, camporees, winter camps, and cross country ski trips. it was a good time.
I made some friends at scout camps, one of them was in the medical area. I got to know her, then I came up to one of the geocaching cross country ski events, and found out that she was a cacher and ran the cross country ski events. So for many years I would see her working here, or at other camps, or holding events here.
Sadly this last year she passed away. She had a cache near here, and it was archived when she passed away, so I thought I would take a moment and drop a new one and remember her and my scout camps here.
