Much of the present parish of Frankley is rural and lies beyond the Birmingham City boundary. The base of a Saxon cross in the churchyard is evidence of Christianity here perhaps as early as 700 AD. The fabric of this small country church dates largely from the 15th century but was restored at the end of the 19th century.

The cache is a camo bison tube located at the start of a footpath a short walk from the Church.
THERE IS BARBED WIRE NEARBY, BUT THIS SHOULD IN NO WAY HINDER YOUR SEARCH, THE CACHE IS A LARGE CAMO BISON HIDDEN BEHIND SOMETHING, OF WHICH THERE IS ONLY ONE AND IT HAS BEEN THERE PROBABLY LONGER THAN THE ROAD HAS.
