Här vilade Arn år 1286. Det är lätt att förväxla Arn på skylten med Arn i böckerna av Jan Guillou. Men de som satt upp skylten säger att det är någon annan. Böckerna utkom på nittiotalet och handlar om tempelriddaren Arn Magnusson som bland annat deltog i korstågen i det heliga landet. I böckerna befinner sig Arn även på Visingsö där han bland annat bevittnar Kung Karl Sverkerssons död. Böckerna har även blivit film, där Visingsöscenerna spelades in på Kinnekulle.
