[ENG] Bologna Crime is a series of caches positioned in the places where crime occurred in the history of Bologna.

The artist is part of that extraordinary baroque pictorial movement commonly known as the Bolognese school. Bologna, in particular, was a more prolific Italian workshop of female artists, who could express themselves so effectively also thanks to the protection granted to them by their respective fathers, as it was precisely for Elisabetta but also for Lavinia Fontana, daughter of Prospero, or for the Roman Artemisia Gentileschi, daughter of Horace, and the Venetian Marietta Robusti, daughter of Tintoretto and therefore called "la Tintoretta". Among his disciples there was also Ginevra Cantofoli, who later became famous not only for the works created but also for having been suspected of being a venice against the teacher for an exasperated jealousy of love. Indeed, even the father, perhaps out of envy of his daughter, was seen as responsible for Elizabeth's death. However, none of the three suspects, including the maid Lucia Tolomelli, was formally accused and the painter was declared dead due to a perforating ulcer (peritonitis).
