GrimCats Trail is a circular walk of approximately 4 miles taking in scenic footpaths, country lanes and fields around the outskirts of Ivybridge and Ugborough. This is our first joint trail after moving to and exploring the local area whilst collecting caches. We have both found over 300+ caches each at the time of placing this trail, and wanted to put a trail out together as well as our own individual caches.
The trail consists of 10 caches followed by a bonus cache and has, in places, gradients both up and down that are challenging. There are also stiles to cross and a footbridge. Please note some areas of the trail are through private land and care must be taken to keep to the designated footpaths. There are also fields to cross which can contain livestock throughout the year. Sensible footwear is advised, especially between caches 9 and 10, where it can get extremely muddy.
GrimCats Trail No. 1 is a film canister and is located on a country lane but can be reached from the road, no climbing required.
