This is stop #4 of mine and my wife's new series. If you are from the Wichita area, you most likely remember hearing about these gruesome murders. This cache series is to remember the victims that in no way deserved this. Throughout the series we will guide you through the history of these innocent victims lives, cut too short. These caches may or may not be placed at the exact location of these incidents. All of these caches are placed with permission, or on public property. Please be respectful of boundaries, as some of these locations are near private residents. We will not be saying the exact locations of the homes where these took place. If you are curious you can find almost all information online. Feel free to conduct your own research.
December 8th 1977 on South Pershing street, 25 year old Nancy Fox was murdered by B.T.K in her appartment after returning home from work. At the time Nancy Fox was a single, independent woman working in a nearby Jewelery Store. What is a big deal about this murder is, after commiting his crime, B.T.K went to a nearby grocery stores, used a payphone, and called into 911 and reported the homicide. This would be the first time anyone had heard the voice of the feared, B.T.K killer. Due to privacy, not much information from Nancy Fox's life has been released.
