This is a cache replacing an older archived cache placed over 13 years ago. June 5, 2007 to be exact, by teamCull. (GC13EBR) It's the closest one to our home and one of the first ones we found when we just got started in geocaching. It was called "Jack's Gift" and was created as a tribute to a family friend named Jack who lives or lived in the immediate area. The original description is as follows:

Jack's Gift
Jack has been a family friend for a long time. He has done a lot of things with our son; camp, baseball and a lot of movies. He always seems to come over when we have shrimp on the dinner table.
Recently, we have introduced him to geocaching. We placed this cache just down the street from his house. We hope this will be his first FTF.
