This is a gadget cache and will take some nimble hands to solve it. For me personally it took just under 20 minutes the first time I solved the underlying 'sheriff key' puzzle at the heart of this cache so be prepared for a truly difficult cache to open.
If you have to leave and the key is not back in place, please contact me so I can reset things :

I want this to be fun, not frustrating, so I included a map of sorts to guide you. After some beta testing, several found the map made it more confusing. Left to right on the map represents rotating the key counter clockwise and clockwise, respectively. Moving up on the map represents lifting the key and moving down on the map represents lowering the key.:

If that map doesn't quite make sense, it continues endlessly left and right since the key can spin all the way around. Here is a continued map of the route I like to take:

I also made a video on how to open it as a last resort - I promise you it is less fun that way. What is more fun is jamming to the 'Ocean's eleven' soundtrack in your headphones while trying to do this geocache. Thank me later.
Returning the key can be aided with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUrJLcqmKEo and if you cannot return it, please contact me and I'll get everything reset.
As always, you need to sign the paper log inside the geocache for this to count as found. Online entries without a signature on the logbook will be deleted to keep the game fair for everyone.
This cache is placed with permission. That goes for the new location on Summit Drive too.
