This monument was dedicated in 2019 to the memory of “the Chamorros who suffered, who were beaten and those that were killed here in Kalagauk and Tiyan during WWII.”
I thought a cache would be a great way to bring more people to and raise awareness of this monument.
The cache is not at the monument as respect is due there.
The monument is open to the public but there is a security fence around the general area and I am unsure of the hours of closure, so visiting during business hours would be advisable. Tools of the trade might be helpful to get the log out.
