Easy park and grab, but I'd like to suggest an optional challenge for the log: Include an ambigram.
An ambigram is a word that can be read in multiple ways when rotated or reflected. The word ON when rotated becomes NO. The word MOM becomes WOW. The word HI when reflected stays HI.
This cache is inspired by a dear friend of mine whose initials are L.L. When you rotate her intitials, you get 77, and guess what?! My friend was actually born on the 77th day of the year!
L.L. and I met back in college and became lifelong friends. I was inspired by L.L.'s love of learning and willingness to try new adventures. Because of L.L., I went along on a rock climbing trip to Interstate Park, planned by the college. (There will be no rock climbing for this cache, sorry.) Because of L.L., I did my first 50 mile bike ride. (You do not need to bike 50 miles for this cache, but you certainly may if you want to. Kurt?) That first 50 mile bike ride with L.L, after which I was totally wiped-out, actually opened my horizons, as I have now biked across Minnesota many times and even done a bike trip from St. Paul to Chicago. Thanks, L.L., for introducing me to long-distance biking.
While out biking one day, I came upon this little T-intersection on a country road. The address of the intersection is 77th Street and 50th Avenue. 77 & 50. How could I not put a cache here as a tribute to my friend? If you rotate 77 & 50, you get OS * LL. I am going to say that stands for "Our School of Lifelong Learning." That is something L.L. and geocaching have inspired me to enroll in.
