This cache is on private property and is hidden with the homeowners' permission. This is the BONUS CACHE for the "Ashcroft Mosaics and Murals - Set 1" Adventure Lab. As you work through the 5 stages of the Adventure Lab, each correct answer will reveal one of the digits required to find the final coordinate set for the actual cache location.
The actual cache location is N50º 41.ABC W121º 1X.YYB. The values for A, B, C, X, & Y will be obtained from the 5 stages of the Adventure Lab.
The related Adventure Lab, as well as this bonus cache, are meant to serve as a tribute to Marina Papais & Daniel Collett, the "masterminds" of the Mosaics & Murals project in Ashcroft. They moved to Ashcroft in 2007. She is an international award-winning stained glass artist whose work is displayed in art galleries and corporate offices throughout Canada and the United States. She believes the only way we can be truly happy is to create communities in which we thrive together. By bringing art forward, it calls us to celebrate the creative, inventive, passionate, and joyful within us all. Her guiding vision is of a thriving Ashcroft where citizens are proud to call this town "home" and where businesses flourish with tourism and local trade. Daniel, Marina's husband, whole-heartedly lends his enthusiasm to the glass mosaic and mural projects, drafting plans, designing and building structures, and assisting with the mosaics & murals in any aspect. He shares Marina's vision of Ashcroft becoming a thriving centre for the arts.
As well as giving literally years of their time and talents for FREE, they have also been masters in sharing their vision as educators, inspiring amazing volunteers & donors, forging partnerships, and making things happen year-after-year out of seemingly "nothing". This historic railroad and agricultural town is being transformed, one magnificent mosaic and mural at a time.
