I created the original "Remembering Jim" geocache in 2016. This past winter it was brought to my attention that tedthe tree it was in had been cut down and the area cleared. I don't go geocaching in the winter and wasn't sure if they were done clearing the area so I didn't want to put a cache there yet. Due to this cache being archived too long I had to create a new one. Sorry for making those who already found this have to go back a second time but there are some beautiful new graves near Jims so maybe you will enjoy seeing those.
This cache is in the Lakeview Cemetery. It is not on any graves so please be courteous and respectful around them.
This cache is a small medicine bottle with little trinkets and a log.
Jim grew up just down the road. He died on March 22, 2011 when he was 28 years old of a rare heart disease called Lymphocytic Myocarditis. He loved punk music, watching movies and playing video games.
As you leave you may notice my husbands grave. His name is James Rockwell. He is buried next to his mother whom died when he was 10. Both left this world too soon.
