Please DO NOT add a logbook to this Cache, LOOK for the one thats there as you admire the views.
This Cache was placed here because it was the property (on the opposite side of the road) that the CO grew up on. At that time there were only a couple of houses in the area and we owned 10 acres. It was such a great place to grow up, with so much room to explore, ride my horse and live the perfect lifestyle. There was a creek running through the property where we spent many hours digging out the silt so we could paddle and keep cool. We had all sorts of animals and grew a few crops, mainly carrots that my parents would sell off and donate the money to projects that would benifit their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren long into the future.
But as with all great areas over time pieces get sold off and houses get built and the area, still great, but belongs to other people.
From this area, something that can never be taken away, are the great views over the Valley. Enjoy them while signing the logbook.
