This cache is located in Gale Woods Farm, which is part of the Three Rivers Park District. This park is open 5am to 10pm daily.
You are seeking an ammo can near the edge of the woods; it should be easy to find. Please follow the limestone hiking trail until you are close. Please be mindful of any trackables (e.g., dog tags or geocoins with unique codes that can be tracked at geocaching.com) and only take them if you will be moving them to another cache.
Gales Woods Farm is a working farm featuring interpretive programs where visitors can learn about agriculture, food production and land stewardship. This farm was purchased in 1922 by Richard Gale. In 2000, the Gale family donated this valuable land to the community through Three Rivers Park District and the Minnesota Land Trust. In addition to learning about farming, you can also bike, hike, fish, snowshoe and paddle (note: canoe rentals are not available in 2020). I hope you will take some time to learn, explore and enjoy all this great park has to offer!
