Promotions for the DVD release for The Simpsons Movie occurred across the United States. The Empire State Building was illuminated yellow, the first time the building had ever been used as part of a film promotion. The Empire State Building is a 102 story Art Deco skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. The Empire State Building opened on the date Ast May BCDE.
