Geocache Description:

Crooked Lake Nature Preserve was purchased by the State of Indiana with the assistance of the Nature Conservancy, Acres Inc. and Crooked Lake Property Owners Association.

Crooked Lake Nature Trail is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked loop near Columbia City, Indiana that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-around. Dogs are able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. Elevation gain equals 121 feet.
