This cache is located on the Crooked River Lookout Trail, for which the Provincial Park is named. The secondary name of Bear Lake refers to the lake where the campsites are located, but the river actually runs behind this ridge. Consider packing an ample supply of bug spray - they do not get fed often enough up here, and the mosquitos are hungry.
This cache can be accessed by the water tower road, the Square Lake trail (which is also the Livingston Springs trail), or from the trail near the sani-dump in the main camping area. Please remember this is bear country, so take the necessary precautions.
The trail will wander through a variety of regions - from mixed forest to pine forest (blow down?) to semi-swamp to devils club field. It is a wonderful walk to augment any stay at the provincial park.
