This Geocache hide his a "Russian Doll" type but using tins. Contained in a rectangular click top container and waterproof camouflaged bag for added protection. BEFORE opening can you guess how many, kids?

Take the main path, via the gate from the Leggat car park (slightly uphill). On your LHS you will encounter a fence line, protecting you from one of the many old quarries. Further along the parallel fence line will turn (LEFT) into the woods. FOLLOW the fence line into the woods, away from the path until you reach the first LARGE ROUND WOODEN POST. Look diagonally away from the fence line and you should see a large windblown conifer tree (GZ).

GEO-TIPS

  1. Your GPS or smartphone will only get you within about 30 feet of the cache location. When you’re close, use your eyes, hands, and geo-senses to locate the cache.
  2. Look for something that seems out of place.
  3. Caches come in all sizes, shapes, colors. Look under rocks, in tree hollows, under park benches and yes, look in that one spot you’re 100% positive is not the hiding place. Chances are, that’s exactly where the cache is.
  4. Geocaches are often disguised as rocks, bricks, bird houses, or other everyday objects, so think outside the (ahem), cache-box.
  5. Think like a detective.
  6. Think, “if I were a geocache, where would I hide?”
  7. Geocaches are never buried, but they won’t always be on the ground. So.....Look high, look low, look around.
  8. Leave no stone unturned (but put back as found, please) nor park bench unscowered. BUT.....Respect your surroundings. Geocachers should only ever leave their footprints.
  9. NEVER trample on flower beds, scale walls, or damage property trying to find the cache.
  10. Check the hint or look to see if a spoiler photgraph as been posted by the CO.
  11. Many cache pages offer hints that may help you figure out where to look.
  12. Check the latest activity, recent logs from other geocachers may contain valuable information such as, “I had to look really LOW to find this cache!”
  13. Be patient with yourself
  14. Look at the size of the cache and terrain ratings for clues.
  15. Developing your geo-senses takes time.

Please remember to bring TWEEZERS and something to write with. Thanks
