The recent arrival of 'Adventure Lab' caches prompted me to walk up the Old Coach Road from the house and explore Sharphill woods again. On my return across the fields I skirted one of the mobile phone masts up there and chanced upon a rather solid block of concrete that I am pretty sure used to be the hiding place for a cache. With the appeal of the new trail up there, it makes sense to 'plug the gap' and place a simple hide in the vicinity.
It's a popular place for dog walkers and families so keep an eye open for muggles, otherwise it's all very easy. The views across the city are fabulous from up there and the ' Adventure Lab' trail through the wood is fun for everyone.
The plastic log is a very tight fit so you will definitely need TWEEZERS (and a pen!). Beware stingers and thorns! Please replace exactly as found so that other cachers stand a chance of finding it too but it is kept hidden from prying eyes.
