Today, Golet Farm Preserve serves as a wildlife gem in the Moodus section of East Haddam. It's meadows and trees provide a wonderful habitat for birds. Its wetlands offer places to study amphibians, insects, and other wetland wildlife. This interior meadow area provides quiet respite.
The Golet Farm Preserve is valuable to Moodus and East Haddam in that it connects several important properties, Heritage Park, The Senior Center, Oak Grove Senior Housing, some Town owned land, and the Elementary School, in the most densely populated part of town.
