From 1865, the Addison was a colliery and a thriving community with rows of houses to accommodate the miners. However, in 1963 it closed and now there is little to no remains as nature reclaimed its land. It is now a woodland walk filled with many forms of wildlife.
This geocaching loop containes a series of 5 caches which are just off the path so you don't have to damage vegetation. Parking is available on the side of the main road or along the industrial estate next #2 on Haugh Lane. BYOP enjoy!
