YetAnotherReviewer: This geocache has either:
-a low health geocache score
-numerous DNFs
-hasn't been found in a while
-damaged container
-full logbook
-inaccurate coordinates
-or has a combination of the these issues.

The issues are problematic enough to disable this geocache.

The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines:visit link

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back within a month to be sure that the maintenance has been done. If there are extenuating circumstances, please post a note before I check back. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can re-enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name.

If there is no response from the cache owner, then this geocache will most likely be archived.

Geocache Description:

This cache series is dedicated to all of us who at one time or another “ruled our world from a pay phone” It also pays tribute to the now forgotten blue iconic stand alone corner phone booths (cabinet) and all of those blue phone booths lined along convenience store walls and gas stations throughout this Great country.

And finally, who can forget the very popular and iconic love song, “Operator” by the late and great, singer and songwriter, Jim Croce.

Operator…let's forget about this call,
no one there I really wanted to talk to.
Thank you for your time, you've been so much more than kind,
you can keep the dime.

This cache series begins with #1 on a main street in Emporia, Virginia. It is my goal to eventually place 1000 caches of this series throughout the United States.

This location may be a blue phone booth with all of the equipment removed or a small metal pole with the traditional blue telephone sign hanging over the top on a telephone pole.  In any case, it’s an easy find.

Thanks to the original creator, Navigator 46, for allowing us to place a few of our own.
