This portion of a bike / pedestrian paved trail from Green Lake to Ripon opened up in July 2020. This Geocache is dedicated to Lauree Renaud who founded Green Lake Greenways and had a vision of developing a network of local biking and walking trails. Lauree died unexpectedly in 2018. Green Lake County will have trails and bike routes connecting the Green Lake Conference Center, the City of Green Lake, the Northwestern Trail, the City of Ripon, the Mascoutin Trail and the City of Berlin.
