The cache has now been replaced. GPS can be a bit jumpy due to the tree covering. Please stick to the path until you can see the pond as the cache is pond side of the waterfall
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Pikes Pool is a Heritage Park in Kirkliston. The residents of Kirkliston have worked hard over the last few years to make this a pleasant area that people enjoy walking around.
During lockdown we have spent time walking around the area and thought it would be perfect for our first hides. Myself and my kids (age 9 & 6) have also really enjoyed exploring areas through geocaching. We have visited places we wouldn't have done ordinarily. The idea for this hide came from the kids.
Enjoy the view. We hope you enjoy our cache. Prize for FTF.
I have said it is accessible for buggies but path up the hill to the cache site is quite steep. We have also been up on our bikes but had to push up the hill!
