Geocache Description:

This is our first geocache that we have put out we often walk this area hope you enjoy this area too.

This geocache is placed near the River Plym on a spoil heap which are the  remains from the tin mining which is evident all around this area ,

Nearby is Dittsworthy Warren House which was built for the warrener where rabbits were bred   for meat and their fur the rabbits lived in pillow mounds  long oval shaped structures  appoximately 16 metres by 7 metres built of stone and earth covered and plenty can still be seen in this area ,the house is probably  better known now for the filming of Steven Spielbergs War Horse . you could take a short walk from here up to Drizzlecombe stone row  and Dartmoors tallest standing stone .
