The Mudgy Moose Trail is a series of five bronze statues based on a children's book entitled "Mudgy & Millie in Coeur d'Alene" written by local author, Susan Nipp. The project was created in conjunction with the City of Coeur d’Alene Parks Department and sponsored by the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation as well as various other sponsors.

The 2 ¼ mile Mudgy Moose Trail begins at the base of Tubbs Hill and goes along Lake Coeur d’Alene and through downtown Coeur d’Alene, featuring five life-size bronze statues positioned at locations where Mudgy pauses in his search for Millie, and concludes at Independence Point. Watch for the Mudgy Moose Trail signs which will guide you along the trail that is free to explore.

These five bronze statues were created by internationally-acclaimed sculptor and painter Terry Lee, a native of Coeur d’Alene, Id.

Our Mudgy & Millie Trail Lab Adventure took you on an adventure following the Mudgy & Millie Trail in Cd’A, Id. Now that you completed that Lab Adventure, if you paid attention to your completion screens, you have everything you need to solve the puzzle to help Mudgy and Millie go Geocaching!!
